This is going to be one busy Fall season. We have Mid South up! Haunted Hickory coming up!
The book is coming out along with huge announcements! I am going to take off in one whole
different direction that none of you see coming and then I have some things still up my sleeve
that I cannot wait to share with you!

All in all, it is going to be a Fall to remember!

Okay there are a lot of updates going up on the site here and on the my space,
I have may personal things I am working on and getting ready to head out on the road to tour
and film. I have other projects that I am working on with the wonderful Denice Jones that we
will be announcing soon. We are getting ready to head off into multiple directions. Too much to
do and to talk about and so little time. I have put the teaser up for the new book. The Uninvited
is coming out a month earlier due to demand. Thank you to everyone for asking for it. Things
are going great! Stay tuned for continued updates!

Sorry for the delay in updates! I have been extremely busy!

I have been working very hard on my second book! As soon as, I complete the second book, I
am going to start work on a third book which is going to be a huge project. My goal is to have
both of these books completed by September 1 of this year that way I can begin to work on a
book project with my good friend Denice Jones.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments and support for Children Of The Grave! I was so
pleased and proud to be a part of that project with so many great people!

Big things coming! Big changes happening! Things on a roll now!

You can get the book right here on the site by going to The Uninvited tab here on the site and
clicking one of the Amazon ads.

You will notice throughout the site I have put up some slideshows and widgets. All of those
items are for sale at Amazon. Truly, there is not enough money made to say that I am trying to
get rich, but I thought it was kind of cool to add to the site. These are things that I like or they
caught my interest. The slideshows really give a cool look to the site, Anyway, I hope you
have as much fun with it as I have.

This has been a very busy week! Make sure you tune into Haunted Survivor Radio Tuesday
night to hear Ron Oberon. I have interviewed this man twice before on my day show. This will
be his debut on Haunted Survivor Radio. He is a great guy!

Well, I did it. Thank you to Jana from Mega Management for finally convincing me that I needed
to put together a Press Kit, It is now available for download by hitting my contact tab here on
the site. Again, thank you Jana for your guidance.

Got a ton of work done this week all the way around. Cannot wait to get out there and start
speaking again. I have been a speaker most of my life. I have spoke in front of crowds as large
as 5000 or more. This is not just something that I started doing when I got involved in the
paranormal. In my early years, I won many awards for speaking. In my twenties, I was often
called upon to speak to businesses and groups for motivation purposes. I have spoken for
contests, conventions, private events, and corporate events. Speaking is not new to me and I
have always been a person that was always in high demand for speaking engagements. It is
something that I have always enjoyed doing.

There still is a lot of bitterness going on behind the scenes in the paranormal. Folks, tune them
out. They are the cancer to this field and should be ignored. Focus on your work and the
positive sharing of that work. Stay positive. We do not need anymore negative sent out into
the universe, there is enough already being sent by a few disgruntled few.

Three day speaking event and workshop just put on the calendar for the second weekend of

IMPORTANT UPDATES

Well spring is finally here! During the winter months I have been working on numerous private
cases. Some of them have been very interesting. Thank you to everyone that has either
referred people for help and to those that have assisted providing help for these families. We
made a difference in many lives.

Personally, I have been working very hard to get my new daily radio show off the ground. The
creative process has been a lot of fun.

With Denice Jones, we have been putting together some exciting things for the coming rest of
2008. We will begin filming here very soon. In August, the Haunted Survivors Tour will finally
kick off with a bang. Hitting the ground running to a city or town near you. There is also talk of
a possible huge project that we may be able to announce soon! Along with that, Denice and I
are working on something with the Psychic Elizabeth and the Psychic Patricia. Also, Haunted
Survivor Radio hopes to do a "live" show from The Mothman this Fall. Then in October we are
working with a University for a huge three day workshop, class, and speaking event!

Haunted Survior Radio is going to be turning up the heat on the internet airwaves by bringing
the "best" topics and people in the paranormal today. April 1, is Haunted Evidences Patrick
Burns. The April lineup is awesome! This is the show that people are going to be talking about.
And remember every single last Tuesday of the month we have on the incredible Psychic
Elizabeth giving readings "LIVE" on the show.

Also in October of this year, my book, "The Uninvited" will be released by Llwellyn Worldwide
Publishing. We will be coordinating the book tour and signings with all of the events, along with
some of these being stand alone events.

My website has been updated with many new pictures, video, and announcements. Make sure

well. Denice has done a great job on this site.

2008 is going to be a remarkable year! I have made many personal changes over the past six
months. My focus and determination has never been sharper. Helping people and paranormal
awareness are still my major goals. We are going to come a lot closer to living the reality of
these this year.

Please take the time to drop me a line or a note. I do enjoy talking with each of you. I try to
remain as accessible as possible so that those in need can easily get in touch with me. One of
the things I would like to accomplish this year is to really give you the chance to get to know me
and for me to get to know you. The changes over the past few months have made it much
easier to reach me. And I have been enjoying relating to each of you on a more personal level.
The paranormal is part of who we are, but does not even come close to making up the whole of
who we are.

There are also some BIG announcements coming on many other projects. Denice and I are
excited to continue our friendship and working relationship with Keith Age, and the remarkable
talents of the Booth Brothers.

This is the most holy week of the year for those of us who are Christians. Remember this
week and always all of our blessings. And try to move past the petty things of today to a
brighter more positive tomorrow. There is so much negative on its own in the world today that
we need not fuel the fire anymore. At this writing there are 24 million slaves in the world. There
are 50,000 slaves right here in the US alone. This is a sad fact that is never talked about.
Please put these people into your prayers. Their lives make our problems seem trivial. For
example, one girl was sold to this one man that wanted to enslave her into prostitution, but
once he got a look at her he told her, "You are too ugly for prostitution. I think I will sell off your
organs instead." This type of thing happens all of the time. Please pray for those like this girl.
Slavery is not dead! It is alive and well and it is thriving.

Wow! Can you believe we are past the holiday season already and well into the New Year!
This is going to be an exciting year. On New Years Day I submitted the final manuscript for my
book "The Uninvited." It will be out in late Spring early Summer. I am so excited about this
book and I cannot wait for everyone to read it. I have also started the process of working on
my second book. Details will be coming on both of those projects soon.

I decided to remove the MEDIA page from my website. It just felt awkward having it on the site.
Sort of like a never ending dance card, there for the sole purpose of saying, "See what I did!"
Not really my style at all. For those of you who do not know it, I have done a bunch of TV,
Radio, and print interviews. It just felt like the right thing to do. You will notice that there are a
few new pages on the site and things are in the process of being updated. Please take the time
to check it out.

Haunted Survivor Radio has hit the air waves with me and my wonderful co-host Denice Jones.
Denice and I are working on some very exciting projects for the New Year and beyond. The
Haunted Survivor Tour will be kicking off in the late spring. So stay tuned for details on that.

I wanted to take time to thank everyone who sent birthday wishes to me. It was really
overwhelming. Thank you.

Finally seem to be bouncing back after the trip to New York. I want to take a moment to
thank the entire staff of the Mike and Juliet Show on Fox. They treated us like Kings and
made us feel very at home. Thank you from Elliot and myself, both. You can see the
interview by going to the Media page and watching it at the top of the page. Working on a
whole lot of things here for the coming year. Hard to believe we are only two weeks away
from Thanksgiving.

Is everyone surviving the busy season? I hope everyone is well and will have time to
enjoy this wonderful season of the year. I know I have been very busy. I had organize,
produce, direct, and then edit a whole 2 hour show to be broadcast on Halloween. Wow!
It was a ton of work!

Make sure you listen to the Paramigo's this coming Tuesday! We have a new member and
a new format! The guest lineup for the next few months is unbelievable! Please tune in to
find out what all of the fuss is about! This week is Tracey Bacon and the one and only
Madame Star.

Wow! Here we are in the middle of October. This weekend I will be traveling to Cape
Girardeau, Missouri to teach a class on Ghost Hunting with my colleague, Greg Myers. This
is going to be a terrific event and I cannot wait to get there. This sure has been a busy
month so far. A lot of preparation, interviews, and work goes into this month for all of us.
I hope everyone is doing well. I will be spending my Halloween night with Troy Taylor,
Keith Age, and the Booth Brothers at Troy Taylor's haunted theater in Decatur, Illinois for
the big screen premiere of "Children Of The Grave."   I hope to see many of you there!

A big announcement! The Haunted Survivors Tour is getting rolling. The premiere will
happen at the Haunted Pythian Castle in Springfield Missouri on February 29, 2008. Details
for this event will be coming very soon. It is going to be somewhat of a family reunion for
me. Linda who also lived in the Union House and was also featured in "Fear House' will be
coming, as well as, Tracey from the old MPR group who lived through the investigation of
the haunting as well. Theresa, and Greg will also be there. That is just the start of the list
of who is coming. It is going to be a fantastic night that I know all of us would love to
share with you. Details will be coming soon!

Also, Greg and I will be traveling to the Haunted Pythian Castle in Springfield, Missouri on
November 3 for another Ghost Workshop. Please reserve your spot soon by going to the
Pythian Castle website because these events have sold out quickly in the past.

What are the goals for 2008?!? Well, Greg and I hope to continue our workshops
throughout the state and beyond. The Haunted Survivors Tour will be coming to a new
city each month. "The Uninvited" the book about the Union House will be out in late May,
early June. Also, details will be coming out next year on the major motion picture of the
book. "Children Of The Grave 2" has a target release date of June 7. That is just the tip of
the iceberg for the busy year ahead! And I will be seeing you at conventions all across the
country.

There are some busy weeks coming up! Is everyone ready to kick off the Fall season?! I
know I am. Tomorrow I will be at the Haunted Pythian Castle for the second in a series of
ghost workshops. Then next week it is off to Louisville Kentucky for the Mid South
Paranormal Convention. I am looking forward to seeing all the familiar faces and some
new ones too. If you are going to the convention, please make sure you stop by to say hi.
Then on October 6, I am headed to the Haunted Harney Mansion in Sullivan Days for an
event to help restore the beautiful old building. The following weekend, October 12 and
13th we are taking the ghost workshop on the road again to Southeast Missouri State
University. Of course Spooktacular is coming up at the end of the month in Decatur Illinois
and then it off again to the Haunted Pythian Castle in Springfield, Mo. on November 3. A
busy month ahead. The Paramigo's will be taping on the spot interviews at the Mid South
Convention. We also have some awesome shows lined up from now until the end of the
year. Let's not forget the release of, "Children Of The Grave" on October 17. You can

"Children Of The Grave" was only the beginning. Stay tuned for news concerning the

Wow, can you believe that Fall is almost here! And what a better way to bring in the Fall
2007 season than the LGHS Mid-South Paranormal convention. We will be traveling to
Louisville with many people in tow, including: Myself, Theresa Reavey, Ken Deel, and Josh
Roddenbush. We are looking forward to seeing everyone. Not only will there be a preview
of The Haunted Survivors Tour, but I decided it might be cool to put together a
presentation that will feature many of the various pieces of evidence from the MPR years,
as well as, some new cases from my time on my own.   This is going to be a blast! See
you there!

I have now included a listing for "Symptoms Of Oppression" on the Screaming House,

My opinion is that is gives one of the clearest understandings of what exactly oppression
can do to the person that is afflicted.

The book has a title now, "The Screaming House." The book will tell the story that has
never been told and there are some exciting upcoming projects as well. One of these
upcoming projects will feature interviews with Linda who I took out of the Union House
and for the first time her daughter Ashley who's account is one of the most chilling of the
bunch. We are looking for the book to released in early summer 2008. Stay tuned for
dates and details on the upcoming interviews.

Welcome to Steven A. LaChance.

It has been brought to my attention that a group is still using my name, story, and media
credits to promote their endeavors. However, this was just a misunderstanding. For the
sake of having said it I want to make it clear that I am no longer associated with any
group or team. Please be aware that unless you hear it from me or see it on this site then
it has nothing to do with me. Unfortunately, these things do happen.

I am happy to announce that I have taken my name back and I am now working in the
paranormal independently of any group or team. This was a very important and essential
move for me to make to ensure the quality of work that I handle with private individual
cases. There is just no need to go into these cases with a huge team with a large amount
of equipment. At no time will I be sharing evidence collected from these private cases on
this site. Again, I am not out to prove that the paranormal exists, I already know that it
does.

At times, I might make mention of one case or another for education purposes. However,
at no time will I be disclosing the identity of the people involved in these case.

Let's put some rumors to rest. I left MPR with no ill feelings or animosity toward anyone
on that team. All of that aside, keep in mind that I left the team for solely personal
reasons. It helped me to create a balance in my life that up until this point was lacking. It
was a smart move for myself and a right move for myself and the team. In my mind, I
felt that I had reached a crossroads and we were just going in two completely opposite
directions. I wish the team well in their future endeavors. That is why I gave over my
complete ownership of the team to the current Administration.

What am I working on? Right now, I am currently working and consulting on some very
serious cases.   I am also getting ready for the Haunted Survivor Tour preview at the Mid
South Paranormal convention. The Paramigo's will also be doing some on the spot
interviews at that convention. I am very excited about the upcoming Booth Brothers
documentary, "Children Of The Grave" which I filmed with my fellow League Of
Paranormal Gentlemen members. Laura Long-Helbig and myself are now putting the
finishing touches on my partial autobiographical book. We look forward to the late spring,
early summer release.

I am proud to announce that I will be the first guest on Tim Yancey's new paranormal
radio show for Clear Channel. Tim is a very close friend of mine and I am honored that he
asked me to be his first guest.

See everyone at the Mid South Paranormal Convention in Louisville. It is going to be one
that no one is going to want to miss!
