Spanning the area from Minneapolis to Indianapolis to Missouri, the siblings seek out haunted locales along with some complicated-looking equipment. Their search takes them to some pretty Dickensian places, including old orphanages and deserted woods, as they attempt to give voices to the young, silent and often tortured souls of deceased kids. The documentary is a fascinating exploration into the forgotten and sordid history of how America has treated its youth, and the research and background offered up is often more intriguing than the possible existence of ghosts.
